Minority-owned businesses grew more than four times as fast as U.S firms overall since 1992. They have increased from 2.1 million to over 2.8 million firms, according to a report recently released by the Commerce Department's Census Bureau. While Affirmative Action has had its issues over the past few years, it is still alive. Though many of the catch phrases are no longer in vogue, most of the money that was available to minorities is still available.
